The Silsby Room was started by the members of the Fame Fire Company and their wives in 1978, and has been the back bone of the fund raising for the Fame ever since. Today, the Silsby Room is dedicated to all of the wives of the Fame who volunteered their time to make this banquet hall a success. The wives of Fame no longer take care of the room, but our members still do, and will continue to make The Silsby Room a success through the years to come, and beyond.
